How to certify someone really amazing

Three steps, about a minute, nothing to ship. At the end of it, someone you like has their own web address with a gold-sealed certificate on it, and it has their name in the middle in enormous gold letters.

01. Pick a name

Type whatever should sit in front of .isreallyamazing.com. Their first name works. So does your nickname for them, their surname, the name of their dog, or the thing the group chat has called them since 2019. Short is good. Personal is better.

The Bureau checks availability as you type and tells you two things straight away: whether the name is free, and what it costs. Some names carry a 2x tariff as Names of Distinction - common first names, single letters, and words like mom or boss. You will never discover that at the payment step; it is on screen before you commit.

02. Pick a tier and a term

Three tiers, from $29.90 a year. The difference is mostly how many themes you get and how much you can customise the page - the full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Then pick how long to hold the name: one year to ten. It works like a domain registration, because it essentially is one. You pay once for the whole term, and terms of three years and up are discounted, to 30% off at ten years. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

03. Send the link

Pay once and the address is live immediately. There is nothing to print, post, wrap or wait for. You get a link, and you send it however you already talk to them - a text, an email, the group chat, a DM at 11:58pm on the day you nearly forgot.

They click it. Sparkles happen. The seal spins. Their name is in the middle in gold, and a small fact about the universe is now formally on record.

What they actually receive: a real, working website - not a PDF, not an e-card, not an image attachment. It loads on a phone held up at a family dinner. It can be screenshotted, shared and bookmarked. And it stays there for the whole term you paid for.

What happens afterwards

You get a dashboard. From it you can switch themes (on Super Amazing and above), point the subdomain at another URL, set custom share text, add the print-ready PDF or a mailed fine-art print, and see when the term ends.

Before that term ends we email a renewal reminder, then another during a 30-day grace period afterwards. Nothing is auto-charged. If it lapses entirely, the certificate comes down and the name goes back into circulation.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes, and most people do. A full gift flow with a scheduled reveal email and a personal note is being embossed at the Bureau and opens soon. Until then the method is simple and works perfectly well: buy the name, send them the link, watch them beam.
