Refunds

The policy

• Handles and renewals, within 14 days of payment: a full refund on request, for any reason, except in the two cases below. Use the Request refund button on your account page (once a year), or email support@isreallyamazing.com.
• Handles and renewals, after 14 days: a refund only for a billing error, a duplicate charge, our failure to deliver, or our withdrawal of the name over a trademark or impersonation claim (then we refund the unused part of the term, pro rata).
• Suspended or taken down for abuse: no refund. The 14-day refund does not apply to an address suspended or taken down for abuse (malware, phishing or deception): it is not refunded at any time.
• Trademark or impersonation withdrawals: A name we withdraw over a trademark or impersonation claim is refunded pro rata for the unused part of its term, even within 14 days of payment.
• Board spend: final once it is added to your season total, except for billing errors, duplicate charges and unauthorized use. A refund comes off your season total in proportion.
• Orders we could not deliver: refunded in full automatically, and we email you the reason. For example, the name went to someone else first, the billing address was outside the United States, or the account no longer held an active handle when board spend was paid.

What a refund changes

• A full refund of a handle or renewal stops that term counting. If no other paid term remains on the address, it stops forwarding at once and the name returns to sale after 3 days.
• A partial refund of a handle or renewal, such as a goodwill or pro rata amount, does not shorten the term.
• A refund of board spend reduces your season total in proportion to the amount refunded.

How to ask for a refund

Within 14 days of paying for a handle or renewal, the fastest way is the Request refund button on your account page. You can use it once a year. Otherwise, email support@isreallyamazing.com from the email on the order and tell us the address it was for (for example coffee.isreallyamazing.com) or the board purchase.

How long it takes

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used. Once issued, a refund usually takes 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Stripe emails a receipt for it.

Cancellation

Nothing is recurring, so there is nothing to cancel. A handle does not renew automatically: it ends on its end date unless you renew it.

Disputes

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first at support@isreallyamazing.com: we can usually put it right faster than a bank can. While a payment is disputed, what it bought is on hold:

• the handle term it paid for stops counting, and the address stops forwarding if no other paid term remains;
• board spend from it stops counting toward your total;
• the account can still sign in and see its records, but cannot make purchases or change destinations.

If the dispute closes with the payment returned to you, it is treated exactly like a full refund. If it closes in our favor, the term and the spend count again, and the account stays suspended until we review it. A bank's question about a charge that is not a formal dispute changes nothing. If the card network warns us that a payment was probably unauthorized, we refund it in full and suspend the account until we hear from its owner.
