Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Is Really Amazing (isreallyamazing.com) is run by Embay, LLC. You can reach us at support@isreallyamazing.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Embay, LLC, and "you" means the person using the site.

By using the site or making a purchase you accept these terms. At checkout you confirm it again by ticking the terms box.

You must be 18 or older to buy anything here.

2. What this is, stated plainly

• A handle is a personalized address, yourname.isreallyamazing.com, prepaid for 1, 3 or 5 years. While its term runs it forwards visitors to an https link you choose, and it counts the visits it forwards.
• A handle is not a domain registration. You are not buying a domain name, and nothing is transferred to you at a registrar.
• The board is an optional, separate purchase for handle holders. It is a paid ranking: your rank is your net verified board spend this season.
• There is no prize, no chance and no payout, and rank has no cash value.
• Every purchase is prepaid. Nothing renews automatically, and we keep no card on file.

3. Accounts and sign-in codes

• Your account is your email address. There is no password: to sign in, we email you a 6-digit code that works once and expires after 10 minutes. We never ask for a code by phone or chat.
• If you buy with an email that has no account yet, we create the account at checkout, and the device that paid is signed in afterwards. If the email already has an account, you confirm it with a code before paying.
• Anyone who can read your inbox can sign in to your account, so keep your email secure and use an address you control. Codes, purchase emails and reminders go there.
• You can change your email, sign out everywhere and delete your account from your account page.
• We may suspend an account involved in fraud, an unauthorized payment or a breach of these terms. A suspended account can still sign in and see its records, but cannot make purchases or change destinations.

4. Purchases

• Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout page. Embay, LLC is the seller, and your card statement shows ISREALLYAMAZING.COM.
• Prices are in US dollars. The price shown is the full amount you pay; nothing is added at checkout.
• We sell only to customers with a billing address in the United States, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. An order with a billing address elsewhere is refunded in full automatically.
• Every purchase is a one-time, prepaid payment. A handle term does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel, and we never charge you again unless you start a new checkout.
• Purchases have no stored value: there is no wallet and no account funds, and nothing you buy can be exchanged for cash.
• Purchases are personal to your account and cannot be transferred or resold.

5. Handles

• Term. A handle term is 1, 3 or 5 years, starting when your payment goes through. The end date is shown before you pay and on your account page.
• Renewing. You can renew for 1, 3 or 5 more years while the handle is active or within 30 days after its term ends. Each renewal is a new prepaid purchase that adds its years to the current end date. A renewal in those 30 days extends from the original end date.
• When a term ends. The address stops forwarding on its end date. For the next 30 days only you can renew it. After that the name is released and anyone may claim it. We email you before a term ends unless you turn the reminders off.
• How far ahead. No purchase may produce an end date more than 5 years ahead. Checkout offers only the lengths available.
• Not a domain. A handle is an address on isreallyamazing.com, not a domain registration.
• The forwarding page. Visitors to your address first see a short page that shows where the link goes, then continue there. Links from that page are marked rel="sponsored nofollow noopener ugc".
• Attribution. When we forward a visitor, we add three tags to the link: utm_source=isreallyamazing.com, utm_medium=redirect and utm_campaign=yourname. We never overwrite a value your link already sets for any of them.
• Visit counts. We count the visits your address forwards. Known bots and link previews are not counted, so the count is approximate.
• No search-engine benefit. Handle pages are marked noindex and their links are marked sponsored. We make no promise about how many people will visit your address.
• Destinations. You choose the destination and you are responsible for it. It must be an https page you are entitled to link to: not a link shortener or another redirect, and nothing that is malware, phishing, deceptive or unlawful. We check destinations with Google Web Risk when they are set and again regularly. If a destination is flagged as unsafe we suspend the address without a refund, even within 14 days of payment; reply to our email to ask for a review.
• Trademark and impersonation. We may withdraw a name on a valid trademark or impersonation claim. If we do, we refund the unused part of your term, pro rata, even within 14 days of payment.
• Names. Some names are reserved or blocked and cannot be bought.

6. The board

• The board is a paid ranking: every position on it was bought. Your rank is your net verified board spend this season. Refunds reduce it, spend under an open dispute does not count, and tax never counts.
• Ties go to whoever reached the total first.
• There is no prize, no chance, no payout and no cash value, and rank cannot be transferred or redeemed for anything.
• Board spend is a separate purchase in whole dollars, open to accounts that hold an active handle. Minimum, maximum and daily limits apply; they are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.
• Board spend is final once it is added to your season total, except as set out under Refunds.
• Others can pass you at any time by spending more.
• Your active handle is your identity on the board, and you can choose which one if you hold several. If you hold no active handle, your row keeps its total but shows no name until you renew or claim one.
• We may hide a row, for example after fraud or abuse.

7. Seasons

• A season is a calendar year in UTC, and every season starts at zero for everyone.
• From December 1 (UTC), board purchases count toward the next season. Board checkout pauses for the 45 minutes before 00:00 UTC on December 1 while the season changes over.
• The first season on this website is 2027: board purchases made before January 1, 2027 count toward the 2027 board.
• When a season closes its board is archived, showing the handles as held at the end of the season. Archived boards stay public.

8. Refunds, cancellation and disputes

• Handles and renewals, within 14 days of payment: a full refund on request, for any reason, except in the two cases below. Use the Request refund button on your account page (once a year), or email support@isreallyamazing.com.
• Handles and renewals, after 14 days: a refund only for a billing error, a duplicate charge, our failure to deliver, or our withdrawal of the name over a trademark or impersonation claim (then we refund the unused part of the term, pro rata).
• Suspended or taken down for abuse: no refund. The 14-day refund does not apply to an address suspended or taken down for abuse (malware, phishing or deception): it is not refunded at any time.
• Trademark or impersonation withdrawals: A name we withdraw over a trademark or impersonation claim is refunded pro rata for the unused part of its term, even within 14 days of payment.
• Board spend: final once it is added to your season total, except for billing errors, duplicate charges and unauthorized use. A refund comes off your season total in proportion.
• Orders we could not deliver: refunded in full automatically, and we email you the reason. For example, the name went to someone else first, the billing address was outside the United States, or the account no longer held an active handle when board spend was paid.

What a refund changes:

• A full refund of a handle or renewal stops that term counting. If no other paid term remains on the address, it stops forwarding at once and the name returns to sale after 3 days.
• A partial refund of a handle or renewal, such as a goodwill or pro rata amount, does not shorten the term.
• A refund of board spend reduces your season total in proportion to the amount refunded.

Cancellation. Nothing is recurring and a handle does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.

Disputes.

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first at support@isreallyamazing.com: we can usually put it right faster than a bank can. While a payment is disputed, what it bought is on hold:

• the handle term it paid for stops counting, and the address stops forwarding if no other paid term remains;
• board spend from it stops counting toward your total;
• the account can still sign in and see its records, but cannot make purchases or change destinations.

If the dispute closes with the payment returned to you, it is treated exactly like a full refund. If it closes in our favor, the term and the spend count again, and the account stays suspended until we review it. A bank's question about a charge that is not a formal dispute changes nothing. If the card network warns us that a payment was probably unauthorized, we refund it in full and suspend the account until we hear from its owner.

9. Acceptable use and reports

• Do not use the site or a handle for phishing, malware, spam, impersonation, harassment, infringement or anything unlawful.
• Do not try to break, overload or probe the service, and do not pay with a card you are not authorized to use.
• Report an address that breaks these rules with the report form, or email abuse@isreallyamazing.com for urgent phishing or malware. Reports go to a person.
• We may suspend or take down an address that breaks these rules. The 14-day refund does not apply to an address suspended or taken down for abuse (malware, phishing or deception): it is not refunded at any time. A name we withdraw over a trademark or impersonation claim is refunded pro rata for the unused part of its term, even within 14 days of payment.
• Copyright notices go to our designated agent at support@embay.dev. Its name, postal address and phone number are on the support page. A notice needs your physical or electronic signature; the copyrighted work; the material you say infringes and where it is, such as the address and page; your name, postal address, phone number and email; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner. In appropriate circumstances we suspend the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe and take down their addresses.

10. The service, liability and changes

• The service is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep every address forwarding, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted.
• To the extent the law allows, the total liability of Embay, LLC for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• We may update these terms. We email account holders about material changes before they take effect, and we update the effective date above. Each order records the version of these terms it was bought under.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

11. If you bought in the iPhone app

The Is Really Amazing iPhone app sells through Apple's App Store. For anything bought in the app, these rules apply in place of the payment, refund and dispute rules above. Everything else in these terms still applies.

• In-app purchases are made under your Apple account terms, and Apple is the merchant. We never see your payment details.
• A handle bought in the app runs for 12 months and does not renew automatically.
• Board spend bought in the app is added to your season total the moment our server verifies the purchase with Apple. That is the whole product, delivered at once.
• Refunds for in-app purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides them. A refunded board purchase stops counting toward your season total. A refunded handle stops forwarding, and its name is held for 3 days before it returns to sale.
• When you ask Apple for a refund, Apple asks us whether the purchase was delivered and used. By purchasing in the app, you consent to us answering truthfully from our records: whether the purchase was delivered, whether board spend was applied, whether a handle was ever given a destination and how many visits it forwarded, how long you have had an account, and your purchase and refund totals. We answer the same way whichever outcome it favors: a handle you never used is reported as unused, which counts in favor of your refund.
• If Apple reverses a refund after the name has gone to someone else, we cannot give the name back, because one name has one holder. You keep what you paid for as a replacement instead: one handle of the same length tier, a name of your choosing, at no further charge.
• In the app, your identity is your Game Center account and your board name is your Game Center display name. We may hide or anonymize a board entry whose name is abusive, deceptive or infringing.
