These terms govern the Is Really Amazing app and website, operated by Embay, LLC. Using either means you accept them.

What this is, stated plainly

Is Really Amazing sells two things. A handle is a personalized address that forwards visitors wherever you point it and counts them; it stands alone and needs nothing else. The board is an optional second purchase, open to handle holders, where your rank equals what you have spent.
Your rank equals your total verified spend in the current season. Ties break by who reached the total first.
Rank is recalculated deterministically from the ledger. There is no chance, no randomness, no skill element, no prize, no payout, and nothing of monetary value to win. Rank has no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or sold.
Other players can pass you at any time. A rank is never owned; paying more than you is the whole game.

Purchases

Boosts are consumable digital purchases made through Apple's App Store under your Apple account terms. Apple is the merchant of record; we never handle payment details.
A boost is delivered the moment our server verifies it with Apple: its face value is added to your season total and the board recalculates. That recalculation is the entire product, delivered instantly and in full.
Refunds are requested from Apple and granted at Apple's discretion. A refunded purchase is deducted from your season total and your rank recalculates accordingly.
When you request a refund, Apple asks us whether the purchase was delivered and used. By purchasing, you consent to us answering truthfully from our records, to inform Apple's decision: whether the purchase was delivered at all, whether a boost was applied, whether a handle was ever pointed at a destination and how many visits it forwarded, how long you have had an account, and your purchase and refund totals. We answer this the same way whichever direction it points - a handle you bought and never used is reported as unused, which counts in favour of your refund.

Handles

A handle is a personalized address, yourname.isreallyamazing.com, for a 12-month term. It is a digital service, not a domain registration: you are not buying a domain name, and nothing here is transferred to you at a registrar.
While the term is active, the address forwards visitors to a destination you set, and we count the visits it sends so you can see them. You can change the destination at any time.
The term does not renew automatically. When it ends, the address stops forwarding and the name may be claimed by someone else. You can buy another term at any time before or after it lapses.
We do not promise, and you should not expect, any search-engine benefit from a handle. Outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener ugc" and every handle page is marked noindex. A handle is an address and a counter, nothing more.
You are responsible for where your handle points. Do not point it at malware, deceptive content, or anything unlawful. We may suspend a handle that does, without refund of standing.
We may withdraw a name on a valid trademark or impersonation claim. Where we do, the remaining term is refunded through Apple and the holder is notified.
If your purchase is refunded, the handle stops forwarding and the name is held for a short period before returning to sale, after which someone else may claim it. If Apple later reverses that refund and the name has already been taken, we cannot return it to you - one name has one holder. In that case you keep what you paid for as a replacement: one handle of the same length tier, a name of your choosing, at no further charge.
Owning an unexpired handle is what qualifies an account to spend toward rank on the board. A handle by itself never affects rank.

Seasons

A season is a calendar year. On January 1st the board archives permanently and a new season begins at zero for everyone.
Purchases made in December credit the following season's board. This keeps a season's final weeks from being decided by purchases the buyer has no time to enjoy.
Archived boards remain publicly visible. That permanence is part of what a season total buys.

Identity and conduct

Your public identity on the board is your Game Center display name. We may hide or anonymize entries whose names are abusive, deceptive, or infringing, without refund of standing.
We may reverse credits obtained through fraud, and may exclude players who attack the service's integrity.

Service

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We may modify or discontinue it; if the service permanently shuts down mid-season, the board archives as it stands.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Embay, LLC's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you spent in the current season.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
